Shipboard and Calcutta bills paid by Captain Damage, Calcutta, November 15, 1774 (four items); receipt from Calcutta customs for duty paid on rupees from sale of "Sundry Europe and Madras articles imported per Ship Asia," November 29, 1774 (Indian script on dorse; fragile); Carnage's account of Walpole's rupees in Company's Treasury and sent home in chest (with note: "Mr Walpole was drown'd in Eengall River abt the 1st of Sept. 1774"); note of duty paid on 7142 Decca rupees st the East India House,by Bird & Branson, Jewellers, Cornhill. December 16, 1775; receipts to Earl Winterton by Bird & Brenston of the above duty, December 16, 1775 and by fakes Langton of the price of his Jewellery, Apr 6, 1776; and "Reced of ...Winterton...two parcells directed to Mr Geor: Edwards late a Midshipman on board the Intrepid Man of War & now on board the Roebuck in America consigned to ...Walpole...to he delivered by [him]... to...Edwards wch ...I...promise [to]…Edwards... J. Staples," May 23, 1776.
