Phi Beta Sigma is the fraternity to which Frank Marshall Davis belonged during his time at Kansas State Agricultural College (now Kansas State University or KSU). This file includes photocopies of the following materials held at KSU relating to Frank Marshall Davis, many with annotations by Tidwell: Phi Beta Sigma and American College Quill Club yearbook photos; Davis's Phi Beta Sigma Delta Chapter membership card; Davis's Associated Negro Press reporter's pass; photographs of Davis; correspondence between Davis and Carol Oukrop; photos of KSU in the snow; and typewritten articles and poems written by Davis for Alliance and Kansas State Collegian during his time as a student, including the poems "Race," "Supposition," "Dreams," "Brothers," "Kansas Winter," "To You," and "Gary, Indiana." The file also includes a Davis chronology; a transcript of an oral interview of Davis by Carol Oukrop; and photocopies of articles "Phi Beta Sigma has historic past" by Joe Vossen, "Historic fraternity reclaims original house after nearly 80 years" by Hanna Blick, "Tracing founders' footsteps" by Jonas Hogg, and "PBS member thanks K-State for welcome, involvement" by Todd Le Bon.
