Includes photocopies of the following materials held at KSU relating to Frank Marshall Davis, many with annotations by Tidwell: transcript of interview of Davis by Lawrence D. Hogan in January 1977; transcript of interview of Davis by Carol Oukrop in March 1984; Davis's transcripts from Industrial Journalism course at KSU; transcriptions of Davis's "A Diplomat in Black" column published in a university newspaper; poems and articles by Davis in the Kansas State Collegian 1926-1929; and poems by Ada Rice, one of Davis's professors, published in The Mirror in 1932.
There is also correspondence between Tidwell and KSU Archives staff about Davis papers held at the DuSable Museum, a photocopy of "We All Seem Like Brothers and Sisters" by Nupur Chaudhuri, and a photocopy of a K-State News article from February 23, 1993 titled "Visiting scholars to enhance multiculturalism at K-State" about Tidwell.
