Poems include: "The Search Ends", "Public Servant", "Pacific Invasion", "Horizontal Cameos", "Love Notes at Night", "Tale of Two Dogs", "Moonlight at Kahana Bay", "This is Paradise", "Frank Marshall Davis: Writer", "Charlie Parker", "Three Average Americans", "What Do You Want, America?", "To One Beloved", "George Brown", "Washington Park, Chicago", "Sam Jackson", "Black Weariness", "Moses Mitchell", "47th Street", "Robert Whitmore", "Tenement Room", "Egotistic Runt", "Billie Holiday", "Chicago Skyscrapers", "For Militant Blacks", and "Duke Ellington". Also includes some handwritten poems, including "Recipe for Peace", "She", and several untitled poems. A photocopy of "Giles Johnson, Ph.D." and a Black Cat Press catalog including a description of Through Sepia Eyes are also included.
