[This compilation of poetry should not be confused with KLI’s 1976 Tansy Press chapbook of the same title, For the Snow Queen, the contents of which were later included in his 1977 collection Catalpa. It appears that the large manuscript Irby was compiling in the mid-1970s, which included poems he’d written for In Denmark, was at one point entitled For the Snow Queen.]
