Teaching materials, 1953 - 1997

This sub-series comprises files created by Orel that relate to various courses he taught both at the University of Maryland and at KU. The materials include lecture notes, lesson plans, exam questions, correspondence, newspaper clippings, bibliographic notes, student evaluations, and some student work, as well as English department regulations and other documentation. Subjects represented across the files include: composition, Irish culture, short stories, romanticism, Victorian literature, British literature, poetry, American literature, drama, Scottish culture, comparative literature, and technical writing.
