Harold Orel taught technical writing courses in the Engineering Department at KU and also served as a technical writing consultant at the Midwest Research Institute (MRI). This sub-series includes didactic materials and manuals developed by Orel for MRI, class handouts and worksheets for technical writing courses at KU, correspondence, and examples of technical writing in the form of research proposals and lab reports.
