There is not a diary or journal for every year. Some diaries and journals contain multiple years. Many diaries and ledgers are not complete and most contain blank pages. They contain notes on family events, lists of expenses, weather observations, chronicles of trips, personal information, and family addresses. Some store ledgers where Leona worked are also included.
