Scope and Contents

This series contains incoming correspondence addressed to Deborah (Schumann) Harris and members of her immediate family, as well as correspondence exchanged between Deborah Harris and her husband, Delmer D. Arrangement

This series arrived at Spencer Research Library roughly grouped chronologically by five to ten year increments and then organized alphabetically by the sender's family name within each timeframe. Christmas cards were already separated by the donor. Spencer Library staff kept the chronological groupings and alphabetical order but also separated out key correspondents into their own folders for ease of access. Some pieces were rearranged in order to match the general chronological and alphabetical order of this series.
