London. Drafts of letters, one to Robert Arbuthnott, Banquier in Paris, and an enclosed letter to Mr. Robert Shee at Madrid. Letter to Arbuthnott: Forward the enclosed to Mr. Shee. I have accepted the Bills drawn on me. I have troubled Mr. Ouchterlong with 20 dozen bottle of Bristow Water to be sent you for the Spanish Ambassador. Letter to Shee: Yours of 29 March from Bourdeaux and 2 April from Bayonne received. No news from Mr. Copinger. Have sent Bristoll Water to Ambassador and will send everything (except liquors which won't keep) to Madrid. Messengers with Originals to be sent in 10 days. Mr. Westcombe says Lord Carteret wrote to Lord Stanhope on the affair; Carteret is made Lord Lieutenant of Ireland and the Duke of Newcastle Secretary of State in his place
