1545: Barren Ground Caribou skull and antlers. Black spruce, Dwarf birch, Ledum decumbens, Empetrum, Grass. 1551: A Red Sucker, 19 inches in total length, which flung itself ashore at the approach of a canoe. 1556: Skinning a Barren Ground Caribou buck on the Barrens by Black Bear Slough. Fred Schweder, Jr., Mike Schweder and Rita. Edited with crossouts and insertions to read "Fig. 3. A Caribou buck being skinned by Fred, Mike and Rita at the Bear Slough"...
