Number 764. Georgia: Okefinokee Swamp, Chesser's Island. Two copper plates from old armor dug up in field, 1 1/2 feet down. Conch, been here as long as any one can remember. Brought by W. T. Chesser with him from Liberty County. Heard once from here to Gannet Lake. (W. T. came here when Sam Chesser was 4 years old.) Blown in time of trouble. Old hooks for use on pots in fireplace. Old tomahawk head? Two 'Daypretties' of same material dug up on place. Arrowhead.
