Prints in box 45 and negatives in box 46 were all apparently pulled from the rest of the collection in 2010 to be described as a pilot project for describing the rest of the photographic collection, or for another reason. Data from that project has been used to describe the flexible negatives in this finding aid. Geographic location and item number have been used for folder titles for these images, unlike for most of the rest of the photographic materials. Spencer staff did not verify transcriptions in 2022 when copying from the 2010 data, but they did update terms and language used to [Inuit] except when quoting from publication titles.
