This box contains pictures of sports-related events in and around Lawrence, Kansas.

One set of slides labeled “Pin Party Pt 2” depicts a parade celebrating the University of Kansas (KU) in downtown Lawrence in what appears to be the 1940s or 1950s. There are a few shots of a baseball game at the Kansas City Municipal Stadium stamped August 1960. Pictures of KU football from October 1961, January 1965 and July 1972 are also included, as well as an April 1968 set of golf pictures.

Slides that had been labeled 1 and 2, from April 1988, show the parade in downtown Lawrence celebrating the KU men’s basketball team that won the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) national championship that year.
