Ernest and Sarah Crown moved to this farm in 1908. Their children Milan, Theodore, and Florence were born here. The house had three rooms, and the farm was 160 acres. The Shellean farm is east of the Rising Sun schoolhouse site. It is 3/4 miles north, one mile west of the Anderson Pounds' place.
