These files consist mainly of wedding invitations from Lawrence couples to Ken and Katie Armitage and newspaper clippings of wedding and anniversary announcements. In addition, there is a small photograph flipbook of the 1953 wedding of Katie and Ken Armitage and invitations to their 50th anniversary in 2003; photograph copies from the Watkins Community Museum (marked "WCM Contact Sheet 197.5 and 197.6") of “Wm Schaake and Cathering Dude 1877” and “Chris Schaake and Louisa Dude 1888;” and a 1988 media release from the Watkins Community Museum for the exhibit “One hundred years of Douglas County weddings.”
