Scope and Contents

An included note written by D.R. Anthony III says, “Having to do with mismanagement of Indian affairs in 1903. Senator Charles Curtis, an Indian, is suspect.” While Curtis, a member of the Kaw Nation, was in the House of Representatives at this time, he is accused by the Indian Rights Association of fraud, as is Potawatomi Agent W.R. Honnell.
