These scale drawings show Daniel Vanderslice's envisioned schoolhouse, which was to be erected on the Iowa Indian Reservation, near White Cloud, Kansas Territory. Vanderslice was an Indian Agent committed to fulfilling the terms of treaties between various Indian tribes and the U.S. Government.
