Letter to Lord John Russell asking to delay audience with Lord Coventry until her return to London. Signed: The Queen. Manuscript, ink on black bordered stationery paper. 2 pieces, each leaf 18 x 11 cm (writing on 3 pages). Condition poor due to brittle paper; do not remove from protective sleeve. With photocopy of seller Henry Sotheran’s folder and of collector’s label.
