Charlotte [Princess of Mecklenburg-Strelitz] (1744-1818), queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and queen of Hanover, consort of George III. Letter to William Price, Keeper of Alms House of St. Katherine near the Tower of London directing him to receive the “poor gentleman, John Cam” into the room vacated by “Charles Digby, Clerk.” Dated February 22, 1808. Manuscript, ink on paper, with embossed paper seal and traces of red sealing wax. 1 piece, unfolded leaf 32 x 40 cm (writing on 1 page). With photocopy of seller’s description.
