Scope and Contents
The Kansas U.S.O. Event Photographs date from around the 1940s and consist of two black and white images. Both measure approximately 16 inches by 7 3/8 inches and have "Wolfe Topeka" in white on the front and "Wolfe Commercial Photo Service, 631 Jackson St, Topeka, Kan." stamped in black on the reverse. It is unclear whether the photos were both taken on the same day/at the same event; however there is evidence that this is the case. A man in a white suit stands in approximately the center foreground of the dance picture and in the background of the dinner picture; he is wearing the same outfit in both images, which would seem to point to both being taken on the same day.
