Reno-Lawrence Helpers Club records
Overview
The Reno-Lawrence Helpers Club was a social organization for women located in Lawrence, Kansas. According to the club's 1953 bylaws, ndividuals could become members if they were members of the Reno, Kansas community (Leavenworth County), attended the Reno Methodist Church, and/or were associated with the Reno Ladies' Aid. Members took turns hosting meetings in their homes and providing refreshments. This collection contains correspondence, including letters, greeting cards, thank you notes, etc., between members, as well as meeting minutes that include information regarding roll call, refreshments served, hostess' name, and documentation about other club activities.
