Rhoda Louise Meredith's "Book of Stunts and Frolics"
Scrapbook with a cover title of "My Book of Stunts and Frolics," kept by Kansas native Rhoda Louise Meredith. The volume includes sections for "Stunts and Frolics," "Social events," "Athletics," "Snapshots," and "Miscellaneous," among other sections; not all sections are filled out. Glued into the scrapbook are newspaper clippings and photographs, in addition to inscriptions written by Meredith and by her friends and family. Many of the photographs show Meredith's friends and family and are well-captioned. The bulk of the volume dates from 1931-1932, when Meredith graduated from high school. Loose items include Meredith's 1935 sorority membership certificate, 1936-1937 Oklahoma Association of Negro Teachers membership card, and a 1977 funeral program for Susie M. Towns.
