This collection contains a complete record kept by Reverend Chandler Worth Stephenson of his daily activities and expenses for over a 50 year period, while he lived in Kansas, Michigan, and Ohio. The collection includes his diaries as well as loose papers removed from his diaries.

This letter was written in 1875 by the Reverend Frank E. Kittredge, a Unitarian minister temporarily serving as pastor at Tremont, Illinois. His letter to another church (recipient unidentified) is one of inquiry and interest in its ministerial opening.

The John W. Temple family papers are those of an African American family from Topeka, Kansas. The collection documents the family of John W. and Pearl Temple and the lives of their children, James, Jeanette (Temple) Dandridge, Alberta, and Frederick.

This collection contains a chronological record of William P. Ames' career (including church bulletins, documents and correspondence), drafts of sermons, prayers and speeches, poems (primarily unpublished), a vacation scrapbook and diary, and a historical sketch of Native American education at Haskell Institute (later Haskell Indian Nations University) of Lawrence, Kansas.
