The papers of Esther Buhler Paxton, a graduate of the University of Kansas and long-time Lawrence, Kansas resident and piano teacher, consist chiefly of her membership records from the church and the masonic, social, and professional music organizations with which she was affiliated.

Jan Chiapusso taught piano in the School of Fine Arts at the University of Kansas from 1934-1960. His collection of personal papers includes primarily personal letters and business correspondence, manuscript pages for his book on 18th century composer Johann Sebastian Bach, photographs, research, publicity materials, sheet music, and clippings from magazines and newspapers.

Mildred Seaman taught piano in the School of Fine Arts at the University of Kansas from 1940-1944. This collection consists of awards, clippings, programs, and photographs.
