Overview

This collection includes diaries, sermons, biographical sketches, and other materials from Methodist minister Charles H. Lovejoy, who came to Kansas during its territorial era. Materials have been physically separated, with loose papers located at RH MS P90 and volumes located at both RH MS B7 and RH MS C20.

Overview The Robert Shelton Collection consists of a series of documents mainly pertaining to such issues as fair housing and racial discrimination in Kansas. Several civil rights organizations were involved in this movement and they represent a basis for the organization of this collection.
