Michael Zweig was a graduate student and professor of Economics during the Vietnam War, when he was involved in anti-war and draft opposition efforts and served as a draft counsellor. This collection contains materials related to campus and community anti-war and draft opposition activism and draft counselling for conscientious objectors.

Overview This collection contains audio cassettes and transcripts of interviews of seventeen U.S. men who were of military age during the Vietnam War, describing their personal experiences of the war and the Vietnam era both as soldiers and civilians. The interviews were conducted as an oral history project concerning the Vietnam era by University of Kansas undergraduate students enrolled in a fall 1994 history class.
