Copies of photographs of Emma Berg's teaching experiences at the Vinland School District 49 in Douglas County, Kansas from 1928 to 1931 and in the 1950s, including photographs of the 75th anniversary celebration in Lawrence in 1929, other teachers and administrative staff at education conferences and district meetings circa 1950-1954, and the Douglas County Youth Orchestra circa 1955.

This collection of papers pertain mostly to Joel Grover's work as commissioner and trustee of the Lawrence, Kansas school district, as well as his membership in a survey committee and alternate delegate of the 26th District of the State of Kansas. Some materials deal more with farm business, e.g. machinery.
