This collection consists of a set of postcards published by the Elite Post Card Company of Kansas City, Missouri, documenting the June 1908 flood. Most of the photographs focus on the Armourdale area in Kansas.

A single black and white photographic print of a mother and son picking up bedding and clothing from Kansas City Red Cross volunteers at a refugee center following the 1951 flood. Taped to the back of the photograph is a description used for a news bureau, indicating that Congress had voted $25,000,000 to aid the region.

The collection includes 85 aerial and ground photographs taken by official photographers stationed at the United States Naval Air Station in Olathe, Kansas, of the flooding in the greater Kansas City area in 1951.
