This collection includes photographs from the 1951 flood that swept over Lawrence and Kansas City, Kansas. The photographs were taken by U.S. Navy Air Base of Olathe personnel, unit NA87-2098-7-51, but it is unclear who captioned the original album (a volunteer from the air base?).
