This collection includes correspondence, commentaries, articles, project ideas, courses, and seminars on writing from Roger Martin's career with the University of Kansas, mostly during 1980-2005. The collection also includes some compact discs and audio cassette tapes of radio programs Martin wrote and hosted on the University of Kansas radio station KANU.

The collection includes the records of the Graduate School at the University of Kansas, re-formed in 1996. Formerly known as the Office of Research, Graduate Studies and Public Service.
