Cash book and subscription list for the Kansas Free State newspaper, published by Josiah Miller and Robert G. Elliott, 1855. Lawrence, Kansas, 185-.
This account book may have belonged to James A. Dale before Miller acquired it. Dale's accounts are in the first part of the book. Miller's accounts and subscription lists are in the middle and the last few pages of it. Separating Miller's accounts and his subscription list is a manuscript, "Evidences of Christianity," and two shorter pieces.
