This collection consists of negatives and some prints and correspondence from the photographic studio of Arthur Asa Jellison, who worked and lived in Wilson, Ellsworth County, Kansas in the first half of the 20th century. Individuals photographed in the collection came from Wilson, Dorrance, Ellsworth, Redwing, Corning, Bennington, Claflin, Kanopolis, Dubuque, Holyrood, and Sylvan Grove, Kansas.
Clarence Brittendall (b. 1872) wrote from Okeene, Oklahoma Territory to Rilla Stone (1876-1954), Brookville, Saline County, Kansas, as he made improvements on his homestead claim from the Cherokee Strip land run in September 1893. The two exchanged letters until their marriage in November 1894. This collection consists of their correspondence as well as family history notes by Caroline Dean and Bessie Dutton. Most of the letters are accompanied by photocopied transcripts.

The papers of Kathleen Boston Fox contain her 272-page typescript titled "Our Campbell Legacy" (a history of her Campbell and Johnson family ancestors), as well as letters and personal accounts of her great great uncle, Luther R. Johnson, which describe Campbell and Johnson family history in Missouri and in the early settlement of Ellsworth County, Kansas.
