Most are military or naval orders, warrants, reports, etc.; most are related to the Ordnance Office, to other military supplies, or to the Barrack Office. Some items do not concern supplies, and a few are non-military, although written by military figures. Most items are written by a clerk and signed by the issuer; many are also countersigned.
