Journals kept by Denise Low for the years 1977-2013. The journals served a variety of purposes, including recording dreams and daily events; describing what Low was reading; drafts of writings and a place for sketches; personal matters involving her family, including her children and dealing with her divorces; and other topics of interest to her, both professionally and personally. Materials, including news clippings, photographs, postcards, and greeting cards, may be pasted into the journals or are laid in loose; later journals in particular become more like scrapbooks.
