A collection of unrelated legal documents from different countries and other political entities in continental Europe, dating from approximately the 1300s to the early 1800s. Documents come from Germany, Austria, the Holy Roman Empire, Iberia, Italy, France, Belgium, and unknown geographic locations.

Manuscript fragments removed from book bindings

Overview Fragments and scraps of manuscripts, including texts, letters, sheet music, and other items. These items were removed from book bindings of books held by the Kenneth Spencer Research Library in the Special Collections. Fragments were typically removed from those bindings when the Library sent items out for conservation or rebinding in the mid-20th century.
