Personal Papers of Marguerite Baumgartel
Marguerite Myers Kerfoot Baumgartel earned degrees from the University of Kansas and served as a professor of Visual Art Education there until her retirement in 1981. With her husband, Howard J. Baumgartel, she lived in India on six different occasions, and while there did research on sculpture of animals, especially elephants and makaras.

Marilyn Stokstad joined the Art History faculty at the University of Kansas in 1958 and led the department in several roles before earning emerita status as the Judith Harris Murphy Distinguished Professor of Art History. Materials in his collection include administrative documents from his time at KU and from previous posts at the University of Kentucky, the University of Wyoming, and the University of Oklahoma; his literary biography of Zora Neale Hurston; and his dissertation on Charles Brockden Brown, amongst other materials related to Hemenway's career.

Richard Rhodes papers
Richard Rhodes, born in Kansas City, Kansas, is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author whose many books and articles reflect his wide ranging subject interests. In these papers are manuscripts of his writings, copies of his many published works, related correspondence, some personal material and photographs, and the author's extensive research files, containing more than one hundred audio tapes of interviews that he conducted.
Robert B. Riss Collection
The collection includes several photographs, personal and professional letters, and other writings by authors, artists, American presidents, nobility, royalty, and other notable persons from the United States, British Isles, and Continental Europe, compiled by Robert B. Riss. English translations for some of the writings in other languages are included, as well as some labels and bookseller information. St. Paul's United Church of Christ records
This collection contains papers and books from St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Eudora, Kansas, founded in 1869. Records of the church include meeting minutes, financial records, correspondence, hymnals, religious texts, and certificates. Also included is a congregational register, dated 1923-1945, for the Evangelical St. Paul's Church of Lawrence, Kansas.
Voth, Unruh, and Banman families collection
This collection contains materials on German-Russian Mennonite families who immigrated to Kansas in 1874. Specifically, the Heinrich (H.) Banman, David P. Unruh, and the C. R. Voth families and their descendants Waldo O. Voth and Emma Unruh Voth are represented, as well as their ancestors, friends, siblings, and other family members. The collection includes photographs, diaries, ledgers, scrapbooks, serials, books, and papers, with a portion of the earlier material in German.
Walter Thomas Bezzi papers
This collection consists of several journals owned by Walter Thomas Bezzi, late 20th century author and magazine editor who lived in Wichita, Kansas and California. The collection also includes correspondence, manuscript drafts of many of his works, and some personal papers.
