O'Hegarty, largely regarding Home Rule, Sinn Fein, Irish independence, and other political matters during the early part of the 20th century. Some items appear to be duplicates of each other; there are 93 items in total (some items having multiple parts).

Irish Parliamentary Party Committee records
Accounts and minutes of the Irish Parliamentary Party Committee, a group formed after the 1890 split in the Irish Parliamentary Party by individuals who were against Charles Stewart Parnell. The volume includes a section of accounts before the minutes begin, and accounts are interspersed throughout the minutes. Letters are occasionally quoted in the minutes. An alphabetical index begins the volume.

Isabel Hawkey letters
Isabel Hawkey and her husband, Cyrus T. Hawkey, were born in Ottawa County, Kansas. After marrying, they lived in Colorado and in Kansas City, Kansas. These letters are chiefly incoming letters to Isabel Hawkey from her father, William Larzalere of Minneapolis (Ottawa County), Kansas, and from her aunt Elizabeth Ford of Burlington, New Jersey.

This collection consists of papers and photographs from J. (Joseph) B. Anderson and his wife Pearl, long-time residents of Topeka, Kansas. J. B. Anderson was a popular photographer in that city from the 1940s through the 1970s.

J. B. Littlejohn, a longtime Kansas resident, served as a State Representative for Shawnee County from 1977 to 1981; the collection includes a biography and portrait photograph.
J. B. Stoner gubernatorial campaign collection
Included in this collection are campaign committee newsletters, flyers, a bumper sticker, and many news clippings from white supremacist J. B. Stoner's 1970 campaign for Governor of Georgia. Stoner was defeated in the gubernatorial election by Jimmy Carter, who was elected President of the United States in 1976.

J. D. Ferguson Davie correspondence
This collection consists of envelopes and letters from J. D. Ferguson Davie, Member of Parliament for the district of West Somerset, England to his agent, Mr. A. Payne, concerning estate matters. The collection also includes two articles in American Philatelist written by the donor Norman Leslie Hannon concerning the correspondence and some other secondary matter surrounding the letters and envelopes.
J. Harlan Johnson papers
This collection consists of J. Harlan Johnson's research material, including notes, reference material, publications, and photographs, relating primarily to various forms of algae. The material concerns his time as curator of the Colorado School of Mines' Geology Museum, teaching at the school, and research and consultation work outside academia.

J. Reeling letter to J. Beckett
J. Reeling forwards an enclosure [not included with the letter at Spencer Research Library] to J. Beckett (flourished 1806-1809), Permanent Under-Secretary for the Home Department of the British government. The letter is docketed: "London Society held at the Black Swan. Bermondsey in correspondence with Leeds Clothiers". The enclosure had been left at the Post Office for lack of an address.

Jack E. Lorts collection of Larry Eigner correspondence and manuscripts
Collection of materials received by Jack E. Lorts from and concerning the poet Larry Eigner. Includes correspondence and poem typescripts from Eigner and two letters from poet Cid Corman. Lorts had undertaken a college paper on Larry Eigner and began corresponding with him as part of that project.
Jackson Mortuary records
The Jackson Mortuary records are those of a long time Wichita, Kansas business that the Jackson family has continued to run since its 1926 founding. The collection includes some paper material and photographs; the bulk of the collection consists of microfilmed funeral records from 1926-1956.
