Baker University miscellaneous records
This collection contains miscellaneous circular letters, telegrams, administrative forms, memorandums, war department related materials, and periodicals from Baker University. Most of the materials are from the first half of the 20th century.
Balance books from a London trader
Account books of an anonymous speculative trader, providing yearly summary of accounts. Each volume covers a year, and contains a dozen accounts in fair detail and a list of 50 to 100 accounts showing net profit or debit. The "bottom line" is about £50,000. Cargoes largely consist of tropical produce; the trader also imported cheese and butter from Holland into England and had other investments.

Most of the collection focuses on Blanche's involvement in the First African Methodist Episcopal Church (FAME), research into family geneology, work as principal of Shawnee Mission North High School, correspondence, speeches, reference material, and papers concerning civil rights in the United States.

Barbara Duke photographs

The collection includes Association correspondence with the City of Lawrence regarding neighborhood concerns, flyers advertising gatherings, survey and diagrams relating to sidewalk installation, replacement and repair, and newspaper clippings.
Barnabas Dorr Palmer personal papers
The papers include (1) a testimony to his recent left-handness sworn before Douglas County Clerk in 1867, (2) a manuscript titled "A sketch of my military history" which he entered in a penmanship contest, sponsored by William Oland Bourne, editor of the "Soldier's Friend", (3) a letter from General U.S. Grant awarding Palmer first prize in the contest, and (4) letter awarding Palmer a $50 prize.

Barteldes family tree
This collection consists of a photocopy of a Barteldes family tree on a 24x27" page. The complete title is "The Barteldes Family Tree compiled by Bernhard Christoph Barteldes-1791," though the time period covered in the tree is 1529-1963. Friedo and F.W. Barteldes, included in the tree, were the proprietors of the Barteldes Seed Company, founded in Lawrence, Kansas in the late 1800s.
Bartholomew Family collection
This collection, compiled by Margaret Bartholomew De Young, contains photographs and photocopies of family histories, genealogies, and clippings pertaining to her Bartholomew family ancestry. Predominating are records by and about De Young's grandfather, Elam Bartholomew (1852-1934), a Rooks County, Kansas farmer, botanist, and internationally renowned mycologist.
