Photographs of Lawrence, Kansas structures
Joseph Kellogg, as head of the Department of Architecture at the University of Kansas, was the project director of a C.S.E.P. program to make an architectural survey of the city of Lawrence and vicinity. One of his students, Frederick Kreipe, photographed various buildings in Lawrence in 1929 for this survey. Included in this collection are the photographs made for this project. Most are mounted on 3x5" cards.

Pierre Villars' Memoirs of the Court of Spain
Mémoires de la Cour d'Espagne depuis l'année 1678, jusqu'en l'année 1682. Leaf [1] blank, leafs [2-3] are an Introduction suggesting le marquis de Villars to be the author. Engraved portrait of Louis Hector, duc de Villars, with another version pasted on the back. Leaf [4] most of introduction, leaf [5] blank, numbered pages 1-427 text. Leaf [1-12] at the end of the volume is Tables de maitieres, leaf [13] blank. There are also two letters found laid in the volume, located at MS P196.
Pilgrim Congregational Church of North Lawrence records
This collection consists of several volumes of records from the Pilgrim Congregational Church of North Lawrence, Kansas. These volumes include treasurer's records, Sunday School reports, meeting minutes, and membership information for the church as well as for some of the groups associated with the church, including the Ladies' Society and the Young People's Society of Christian Endeavor (Y.P.S.C.E.).

Pilot Club of Lawrence records
Pilot Club of Lawrence is part of an international service organization. The collection includes scrapbooks, newsletters, records related to the club's annual fundraising antique show, as well as meeting minutes, financial documentation, and other administrative records. The records have not been rearranged since acquisition by the Spencer Library; oversize material has been stored separately.
Pinckney Neighborhood Association records
Named for General Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, a hero of the U.S. Revoluntionary War, the Pinckney Neighborhood is one of the oldest Lawrence, Kansas neighborhoods. The collection consists of the records of the Pinckney Neighborhood Association, including the Association's by-laws, newsletters, and newspaper articles mentioning the Association.
Pinckney School scrapbooks
The Pinckney School scrapbooks are a selection of Parent Teacher Association scrapbooks from the late 1940s to the late 1960s and a series of scrapbooks of Pinckney students mentioned in the local newspaper, The Lawrence Journal-World, from 1990 to 2014, compiled by Janet Reeder, the Pinckney School librarian. Pinckney School has been an elementary school in Lawrence, Kansas since the late 19th century.
Pioneer life in Kansas
This collection consists of a single, three-page typescript reminiscence by Caroline Updegraff Parker, relating the experiences of her brother William W. Updegraff and her own family in Osawatomie, Kansas from 1855 to 1869, as well as a photograph of her brother William later in his life.

Pippin family letters
This collection contains letters addressed to members of the Pippin family who resided in Wilson County, Kansas in the 1940s and 1970s. The bulk of the collection consists of letters written to Neodesha, Kansas residents Lafe and Dorothy Pippin from their son and neighbors who were serving in the Army during World War II.
