Minutes; membership roster
The G.A.R. in Kansas was organized shortly after the Civil War. This collection consists of thirteen manuscript volumes. Twelve of these volumes are minutes of the organizations meetings. The thirteenth volume is a membership roster.

Native Kansan Miriam Franklin (1894-1992) was a teacher, writer, and world traveler. Her publications include the college textbook Rehearsal, published by Prentice-Hall. This collection of her papers includes correspondence and story manuscripts from Franklin's life, including her time teaching in Guam (1957-1959). It also includes photographs, slides, reel-to-reel and cassette tape recordings.

Morris and Masterson family papers

This collection contains eight volumes of typed transcriptions of proceedings from meetings of county commissioners of Morris County, Kansas and Osage County, Kansas, held during the period 1859 to 1906. The transcriptions were produced through the U.S. Work Projects Administration's Historical Records Survey.
