North Lawrence postal records
Postal records from the North Lawrence post office, 1884-1885. Legible coverage includes records from Dec. 8, 1884 to Dec. 18, 1884 and March 14, 1385 to Sept. 30, 1885. The section from Jan. 1, 1885 to March 13, 1885 has been used as a scrapbook for newspaper clippings, mostly obituaries of early Kansas men.

Girl Scouts of the United States of America is a youth development organization that instills leadership skills in girls through community service, camping, hiking, and other outdoor excursions. This collection comprises the records of Girl Scout councils representing northeast Kansas, and particularly Douglas County, from the early years of Girl Scouting in the area in the 1920s through the beginning of the 21st century.

An unknown writer from the British Isles makes notes on the Mirror of the Sacrament of Penance by Hugh McAngel, "A Dialogue between Oisin and Patrick", "A Dialogue between Tadhg and the Friar", and the description of several miracles. Some names and notes are in Gaelic, including a transcription of "The Miracle of Scuithin and Bishop Bairre". The notes were written on one bifolium, covering 4 pages.

The certificate is filled out by the City Clerk's Office, Sept. 17, 1867. The deed, for a lot in Oak Hill Cemetery, is signed by the Mayor and the city clerk, March 28, 1868.
Oak Ridge Birthday Club collection
The Oak Ridge Birthday Club was a women's social club for rural farmers' wives outside Lawrence, Kansas. The collection contains official records from the club, including constitutions, lists of members, annual programs, minutes and ledgers, as well as notes taken by club members and correspondence with the club. These records were retained by the club historian, Marie Ice, who donated them along with her notes and research on the history of the club.
