The creator of this travel album, Antonia Williams, has been tentatively identified as the daughter of Sir Hugh Williams (1802-1876). Her full name was Arabella Antonia Williams. During the journey recorded in this album, she was the travel companion of Lady Catherine Minna Jenkins, a sportswoman who later wrote Sport and Travel in Both Tibets (1909).
