Reminiscences of Fairmount College
"Reminiscences of Fairmount College" is Dr. Walter Graves' account, written in 1938, of the creation of Fairmount College (later Wichita State University) in Wichita, Kansas in 1895, continuing until 1906 when he resigned his seat as a member of the Board of Trustees. Graves portrays himself as an early, vocal advocate in urging the Wichita Association of Congregational Churches to back the creation of a new college in south-central Kansas.

Replica guidon-style flag, top portion made of red cloth and bottom portion made of white cloth. White felt letters sewn onto the top state "US DRAGOONS," and there is a red felt "A" at the bottom of the flag. Lined with gold silk fringe sewn around the edge. A handwritten label stating "A Replica of the First Dragoon Guidon Carried by the troops who built Fort Scott in 1842" has been retained with the flag.
