Udall Tornado Newspaper Clippings
On the night of May 25, 1955, the farming community of Udall Kansas was hit by a tornado that started in northeast Texas and made its way through Oklahoma to southern Kansas, completely flattening the town and killing 77 residents, injuring many more. This collection consists of news clippings of the immediate aftermath, rebuilding efforts, and public forums concerning Udall in the tornado's wake.
Un Voyage aérien; dans cinquante ans.
This collection comprises a single manuscript volume containing a novel entitled "Un Voyage aérien; dans cinquante ans," written by Eugène Farcot, a French scientist and engineer known especially as a clockmaker but with a strong interest in aeronautics. The novel describes a fantastic voyage, set fifty years in the future in 1914, to Africa in a large, steam-powered dirigible airship. The novel has 13 chapters; each chapter is foliated separately.

These papers may have been written by E. H. Sears, according to accession notes, but his death date appears to conflict with the manuscript dates. The papers were among some newspapers initialled E. H. Sears given by James C. Malin.

Unitarian Fellowship of Lawrence, Kansas collection
Unitarianism has been an active denomination in Lawrence since the town was founded in 1855. The congregation disbanded during World War II and reestablished a charter in 1958. This collection includes meeting minutes, budgets, long-range plans, membership directories, correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, books, sermons, and histories of Unitarianism in Lawrence from the territorial era to the present church.

This collection contains a diverse array of materials related to the activites of the United Farm Workers union in the 1960s and 1970s. Included are personal and press photographs (including a 1969 portrait of Cesar Chavez), various ephemera and memorabilia, a number of journal entries from an unnamed union member, and newspaper clippings regarding the death of a Latino grape striker killed on the picket line in 1973.

These transcripts are of United States bankruptcy court testimony and subsequent examinations held at Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the case of the United States (plaintiff) vs. the Invisible Empire, Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (defendant). The transcribed testimony on behalf of the Ku Klux Klan and on behalf of entities named in association with it is by Bill Wilkinson, self-identified as Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan and as pastor of the Universal Life Church of Racial Purity.
