Confucian Culture in Korea: Woodblocks for printing books
The two woodblocks in this collection reflect the strong tradition of Confucianism in Korea during the reign of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897). Both books are collections of Confucian writings and consist of Chinese texts rendered in Korean. Images of folio book pages printed from these woodblocks, downloaded from websites where the entire printed books can be viewed, have been printed out and are shelved with the collection.

This letter from H.L. Mencken to William Griffith, October 4, 1930, gently rejecting and returning the enclosed typescript of Griffith's poem, "Coquetry", was found laid in Griffith’s copy of Mencken’s book, Treatise of the Gods (1930).

The Cordell Meeks, Sr. family papers are those of a native Kansas family, the head of which, Cordell D. Meeks, Sr., was Kansas' first African American District Court judge. His son, Cordell D. Meeks, Jr., also became a judge and he and his wife, Mary Ann, were active in their community and local politics.

The Cordwainer Smith collection contains drafts, fair copies, bound manuscripts, journals, typescripts, clippings, and correspondence, representing the major part of the surviving science fiction manuscripts of influential science fiction writer Cordwainer Smith. Also present are some of Linebarger's non-speculative fiction literary work and some papers from his governmental and academic careers, as well as some works by other writers.

In 1984, Robert Mills retired and sold the agency to Richard Curtis Associates. This collection contains correspondence, book agreements, and royalty contracts between the Robert Mills Literary Agency and authors.
