Joshua William Beede letters
Two letters from Joshua William Beede to his fiancée, Clara McKee. Both letters are chatty and loving, Beede indicating he is glad to get McKee's letters and describing encounters with mutual acquaintances. The August [1899] letter is written over the course of several days from a camp in Wyoming, and Beede describes some of his activities there, including anecdotes about his academic adviser S.W. Williston.

A Journal kept by Dr. Moseley on his journey to reach a friend dying of tuberculosis in the south of France and the subsequent searches for a suitably healthful location for said friend ("Dick Boyle"), visits to hospitals and physicians in both France and Switzerland.

The bark Roscoe made its maiden voyage in 1833[?]. The accounts in this journal are from Roscoe's fourth voyage to the Indian Ocean in 1839. The journal is a ledger containing accounts for whale oil and other goods and provisions. Customers of the bark included businessmen, as well as the captain and crew members.
Joyce Castle collection
The collection consists mainly of scores that were either written for or performed by Joyce Castle, University of Kansas Music Department faculty member, and an assortment of playbooks from the plays and operas she appeared in. She also collected a number of prints and drawings of famous 18th and 19th century singers.
Joyce Fent papers
The Joyce Fent collection contains news clippings of Fent's work on the "Beyond the Drawing Room: The Art of Mary Huntoon (1896-1970)" exhibit; correspondence; announcements, brochures, and flyers for the exhibit; research notes; and various records pertaining to other Huntoon exhibitions. Joyce P. Fent was a curator with the Salina Arts Center (SAC) in Salina, Kansas.

Judge James K. Logan papers
The collection of James K. Logan, a retired federal judge of the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, includes documentation concerning the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure (FRAP). He served as chairperson of the U.S. Judicial Conference's Advisory Committee during the time the committee rewrote the rules (1993-1997). The papers include committee meeting and conference activity reports.
