Olivia Bennett files, 1975 - 1978
Scope and Contents
These files, also known as the Cedar Crest Files for the governor's mansion, were kept by the first lady's secretary. Such concerns as tours of the mansion, charitable appearances, teas and receptions for distinguished visitors and local groups, and other traditionally social activities of the governor's office are covered. Also there is the March of Dimes file with a poetry book written by Olivia Bennett.
The correspondence files are a compilation of three to four different systems kept in Cedar Crest over the four years. Spencer Library staff organized them chronologically.
