The photographs in this collection include unidentified family photos and farm photos, most likely the pictures are from the farm of Charlie and Belle Thompson outside of Kingman, Kansas.

This collection consists of a single quire containing notes on law. Dating is from citation a citation on page [12] of "21 Ja. 15" and the reign most cited is Henry VII. The notes were made by J.P., a student or clerk? and may have been tipped into a printed book or are a fragment from a larger volume. The dates covered by the notes appear to include the 13th through 17th centuries.

The Lawrence Alliance of Lawrence, Kansas was formed in 1991 to promote appreciation for diversity, strengthen race relations, and discourage discrimination within the Lawrence community. These two form letters, dated October 1994, announce the Alliance's upcoming community events.

The City of Lawrence's second high school, the Lawrence Free State High School opened in the fall of 1997 to meet growing educational needs and issues with overcrowding at Lawrence High School. The high school is a member of the Kansas State High School Activites Assoication and now competes in the 6A division.

This class notebook, assembled by high school student Barbara Pendleton, contains 81 pages of pressed and named leaves of deciduous trees and conifers. Pendleton's notebook dates from the 1930s--produced for a biology class at Lawrence High School, Lawrence (Douglas County), Kansas.
